BANDERA BULLETIN (03/29/23) – After discussion and review of two bids for a Special Event application for Mansfield Park rental during the 2024 Solar Eclipse occurrence, Bandera County Commissioners unanimously chose Biker Rallies of Texas to host a mega event at the park for the upcoming eclipse next April..

BANDERA BULLETIN (04/05/23) – With RVs, tents, motorcycles and people packing Mansfield Park, it was clear spring’s Thunder in the Hill Country rally was underway.

Organizers told the Bulletin there were no incidents or trouble this year, just good times.

“This was our 21st year, and we had over 6,500 guests from as far away as London,“ said Lonnie Fitch of Biker Rallies of Texas, who organizes the event every year.

“This may be the biggest spring event we’ve had,” said organizer Bill Taber, adding the event, which featured activities for people with and without motorcycles to enjoy, would not be possible without staff and volunteers.

THE BANDERA PROPHET (04/01/22) – After the most recent Bikers Rally held at Mansfield Park, the Boys and Girls Club of Bandera County announced that Bill Taber, with the Biker Rallies of Texas and the organization he represents, donated a check for $2,500 to benefit the programs of the local Boys & Girls Club.
